About Piperlady
Denise is a competent instructor of Great Highland Bagpipes, small pipes, parlor pipes and Zetland pipes. She has an informal band, The YavaPipers, with some of her advanced students. Private lessons are available for a reasonable fee.
Denise was the Pipe Band Coordinator for the Prescott Highland Games, 2005-2010. She is a guest piper with Southwest Skye Pipes & Drums (Williams, AZ) and a member of the Arizona Peace Officers Memorial Massed Pipes & Drums.
Every June, Denise leads the luminaria survivors' lap playing Amazing Grace at the annual American Cancer Society Relay for Life in Prescott. She is a breast cancer survivor (2005).
